Meriden Parade Marshal's Brunch
Photos are from the past
Parade Marshal's brunch which was held on 3/20/21 in Meriden, CT.
On Saturday, March 20, 2021, the Meriden LAOH held a brunch to honor Past St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshals. The event was hosted by Rachel Williams who generously prepared all the food, donated all the supplies and brought in DJ Nate from Attleboro, MA. Social distancing and wearing of masks was the rule of the day.
Over the years, Meriden has supported 46 parades. There are 24 living grand marshals who were invited to dine at no cost. Approximately 15 were in attendance and enjoyed the event. Others were able to enjoy the brunch for $5. Children under 5 were welcome at no cost.
For the second year Meriden’s was unable to hold their parade, and this was a wonderful way to honor the past grand marshals on the day that the parade would have otherwise occurred.
